Had a very productive weekend! Not only did I get to hang out with mad cool friends…

But James and I also got a lot of items done around the house. The first item on our list to accomplish was source hardwood flooring for our upstairs that would match the existing hardwood on the main floor that is now discontinued. Much easier said than done.

Love the pink flip-flops? yeah, I’m not sure why they are out. It’s only 19 degrees outside.

We hopped into our old danger ranger, Rusty, and headed to the flooring store. James is in the middle of  fixin’ her up so she is already to go once spring comes and our need for her to be our work horse is more present.

I, of course, am insensitive of  the time and energy James has spent making her shine, that I got a dirty look from him when I threw out some funny, but ill-timed jokes.

I make this 1999 Ranger look good.

At the flooring store we proceeded to get over-whelmed with trying to find a perfect match.

How cool would that be to do a gangsta wood inlay in our upstairs hallway?

We are waiting on the final pricing from the store and hopefully we will be able to get a sample in to confirm, but it looks like we might have found a good fit.
