Sand it Down
Wow, yesterday morning was really hard to get up at 4:30am. Because I have no shame, this is what I looked like before getting ready.
I figure if James wants a pretty wife he shouldn’t make her work on floors the night before and get 4 hours of sleep. Just sayin’. I did take a shower. It was a small improvement.
Also getting a small big improvement, our upstairs flooring. Want to see the improvements so far? OK!

Lots of awesome sanding work! Now, the hard part – which stain? We had two dark brown ones
James was out in IL for a flight and wasn’t going to back until 11pm last night and we needed to get back with the flooring company that night with which stain we were going to go with. This meant I had to pick.
Yep, me. Don’t worry I got this. Why? Cause I’m a flooring -stain-picker-outer-gangsta. duh.
You know, it’s only a pretty expensive mistake if I don’t get this right.
But I mean, money grows on trees, right? right. no pressure. OH GOD. So which one did I pick out?
After a thick coat or two is applied plus a high gloss top coat it should appear similar to the color of our kitchen cabinets and match the high gloss on the hardwood flooring downstairs (Which has been discontinued. Hence refinishing the original hardwood flooring upstairs).
