Our baby, Hunter, is here!
James and I are happy to announce the birth of Baby Hunter into our family on July 18th at 2:54pm. He weighed 6 lbs 12 oz. We are home now trying to get settled into being parents, but so far so good! The first night was a little rough, but last night I actually got some sleep. I was able to do the all natural water birth like I wanted at the hospital with 12 hours total of labor – 8 hours at home with the doula and a total of 4 hours at the hospital, with 3 of those hours in the pushing stage. I’ll post more details on how that went down soon. As for now, all I can say is I’m completely overwhelmed with how much I love this little guy already! He truly is the coolest thing.
